Abstract

This conference paper examines the role of emotional intelligence, empathy, and reflective practice in developing professional communication competence among future healthcare professionals. Based on the original research, it synthesizes the main theoretical foundations, methodology, and findings into a concise conference format. The paper argues that communication competence should be developed through competency-based, patient-centered education supported by reflective learning, simulation, and authentic clinical practice. The study highlights the
educational and practical significance of integrating emotional and ethical dimensions into communication training.
