THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TOOLS IN ENHANCING SPEAKING SKILLS AMONG FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNERS

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed educational practices around the world. In foreign language learning, AI-powered applications provide learners with innovative opportunities to improve their language skills through personalized and interactive experiences. This article explores the effectiveness of artificial intelligence tools in developing speaking skills among foreign language learners. Special attention is given to platforms such as Ibrat Farzandlari, IELTS GG, and ELSA Speak. The study highlights how AI applications help learners overcome speaking anxiety, improve pronunciation, receive instant feedback, and maintain motivation. The findings suggest that AI can be an effective supplementary tool for language learning, particularly for beginners. However, it should be used alongside teacher-guided instruction rather than as a complete replacement for human educators.
