This article examines the image of Gawharshad Begim, the central character of Primqul Qodirov's novel The Farewell of the Mother Falcon. It highlights her role in the politics of her era, public administration, and the development of science and education, as well as her significant contribution to the upbringing of her children and grandchildren as a devoted "mother falcon." Particular attention is paid to explaining the symbolic meaning behind the novel's title and the reasons why the work bears this name
