This paper analyzes the re-emergence of animalistic motifs across different eras and literary environments, focusing on the relationship between source texts and subsequent texts. Through the concepts of intertextuality, hypertextuality, and artistic transformation, the study identifies both the continuity and the evolution of animal imagery regarding plot, semantics, and poetic functions. The relationships between *Panchatantra* and *Kalila and Dimna*, as well as between *Mantiq ut-Tayr* and *Lison ut-Tayr*, are examined as comparative examples.
